The morning sun

Today I arrived late to my dutch lesson..but I had a very good excuse: the sun!
I took advantage on it and I made some pictures. It's amazing what are able to do just some rays of light..

Oggi sono arrivata in ritardo per la lezione olandese .. ma avevo una scusa: il sole!
Ho colto al volo l'occasione e ho fatto qualche foto. È incredibile quello che sono capaci di fare solo alcuni raggi di luce ..

Flowers and quilt

A few months ago, full of enthusiasm for my sewing machine purchase, I decided to make a quilt for my bedroom. Of course an ambitious project for a sewing recruit as I am! I bought some flowered pieces of fabrics and I started my "quilt challenge"...well, after some trials I quit! Too much difficoult! But yesterday evening I saw the quilt and I thought: "well, maybe if you try another way, more simple maybe...". And I did!! And this is the result: my first double-face quilt is ready for spring!

Pochi mesi fa, piena di entusiasmo per l' acquisto della macchina da cucire, ho deciso di fare una trapunta per la mia camera da letto. Naturalmente si trattava di un progetto ambizioso per una nuova arrivata del cucito come me! Ho comprato alcuni pezzi di tessuti a fiori e ho iniziato la mia "sfida trapunta"... beh, dopo alcune prove ho smesso! Troppo difficile! Ma ieri sera ho rivisto la coperta abbandonata nell'armadio e ho pensato: " beh, forse se cerchi un altro modo, più semplice forse ...". E l'ho fatto! E questo è il risultato: la mia prima trapunta double-face è pronta per la primavera!
