Saturday I spent a beautiful day with my husband in the lovely city of Maastricht. I love this city, not too big and not too small, a dutch city near to Germany and Belgium.The weather was so nice, a perfect spring time! We were really surprised about it!
We arrived at the train station and on the main road that goes to the city center we found a really nice flea market..lucky me! My husband said: "NOOOO!! Promise me that you don't buy anything!" And I said that the only thing that I was looking for, was a pair of traditional clogs..but blue! He was really happy about my proposition, probably beacuse he thought it was hard to find this item, but after 4 or 5 stand I found them!! Of course I bought them for just 7 euros! We went also to the nice Bonnefanten Museum (http://www.bonnefanten.nl/) for a cup of cappuccino (very Dutch style) and I took some pictures in the caracteristical streets of the city center.
It was a really nice "lente dag"!!
Sabato ho trascorso una bella giornata con mio marito nella bella città di Maastricht. Amo questa città, non troppo grande e non troppo piccola, una città olandese vicino a Germania e Belgio. Il tempo era così bello, una primavera perfetta! Siamo stati veramente sorpresi a riguardo!
Siamo arrivati alla stazione ferroviaria e sulla strada principale che porta al centro della città abbiamo trovato un mercato delle pulci veramente bello.. la solita fortunella! Mio marito subito mi ha detto: "Noooo! Promettimi che non si compra niente!" E io prontamente ho risposto che l'unica cosa che stavo cercando erano un paio di zoccoli tradizionali, ma blu! E' stato davvero felice della mia risposta, forse perché pensava che fosse difficile trovarli, ma dopo 4 o 5 stand li ho trovati davvero! Naturalmente li ho comprati, per soli 7 euro! Siamo andati anche al bel Museo Bonnefanten per una tazza di cappuccino (in puro stile olandese) e ho fatto alcune foto per le vie del caratteristico centro della città.
E' stata davvero una bella "lente dag"!
Apparently spring is here! I said apparently because here in the Nederland the concept is really questionable.
Anyway I decided to make some little change in my apartment and "bring the spring" (in dutch lente) inside of my house! First of all I went to Ikea to buy a new duvet cover for my bed..full of colored flowers of course! I also bought six multi functional nice cups that i can use for ice cream, for fruit or for a pic nic!
To put some "spring" also outside and not just inside, I went to the market to buy some flowers for my balcony. I decided to buy just lightblue and white flowers, daisies and violets..I bought a lot of flowers, but here are so cheap!
And also here on my balcony Ikea helped me!
In fact I bought a couple of lovely chair and a small table for the summer sundays brunch.
Now I just have to plant basil, rosemary and the scented lavander! And my husband gave me a beautiful flowers bouquet for our 7th month wedding anniversary..so I decided to put the flowers in all my vases..a small vase in every room!
So, maybe this kind of spring is not like an italian spring, but I created my personal idea of spring inside and outside my apartment!
A quanto pare la primavera è qui! Ho detto "a quanto pare" perché qui in Olanda il concetto è davvero discutibile. Comunque ho deciso di fare qualche piccolo cambiamento nel mio appartamento e "portare la primavera" (in olandese lente) all'interno della mia casa! Prima di tutto sono andata da Ikea per comprare un nuovo copri piumino per il mio letto .. pieno di fiori colorati naturalmente! Ho anche comprato sei belle coppette multi funzionali che posso utilizzare per il gelato, la frutta o per un pic nic!
Per mettere la "primavera" anche al di fuori, e non solo all'interno, mi sono recata al mercato a comprare dei fiori per il mio balcone. Ho deciso di comprare solo fiori azzurri e bianchi, in particolare margherite e viole..ho comprato un sacco di fiori, ma qui sono così a buon mercato!E anche qui sul mio balcone Ikea mi ha aiutato! Infatti ho comprato un paio di belle sedie e un tavolino per i brunch delle domeniche d'estate. Ora devo solo piantare il basilico, il rosmarino e la lavanda profumata! E mio marito mi ha regalato un bellissimo bouquet di fiori per il nostro 7 ° mese di matrimonio .. così ho deciso di mettere questi fiori in tutti i miei vasi .. un piccolo vaso in ogni stanza!
Quindi, forse questa primavera non è come una primavera italiana, ma ho creato la mia personale idea di primavera dentro e fuori dal mio appartamento!
